1. Duffy's Irish Restaurant and Pub

You have to take this place for what it is, which is a dive bar in a sketchy locale. If you like beer and aren't high maintenance I would check this place out. $2 cans of beer on Friday and Saturday nights. I've never seen it crowded and darts are usually available. I've always found the servers to be super nice and helpful - a rarity in the U Street area.
